Getting started
This guide takes you from a fresh install to reading your first book.
1. Install PDFBook
Section titled “1. Install PDFBook”Head to the Download page and grab the build for your operating system:

.AppImage(make it executable and run it) or install the.deb.
When you launch PDFBook for the first time, a short setup wizard lets you choose your language, appearance, and reading direction.
2. Add your PDFs

- Open the Library.
- Add a folder that contains PDFs.
- PDFBook scans it and fills your library with every book it finds.
Add as many folders as you like. When you drop new files into a watched folder, they show up in your library on the next scan.
